About Anchor Pump

Anchor Pump and Engineered Equipment is a merger of  Anchor Sales Associates, Inc. (1981), Kriebel Engineered Equipment, Ltd. (1989), and Pumping Equipment Co. (1961) and is a full-service distributor and manufacturers' representative of the highest quality industrial pumping, process and environmental equipment available on the market.

Located in Warminster, Pennsylvania, Anchor Pump provides sales, service, engineering, and training in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, NY City, Long Island and Delaware.

Jim Tallia, P.E.

Jim started his career working for a major petroleum refiner and distributor.  He later was....  Jim acquired Anchor Sales Associates, Inc. in 2003 and is the President of Anchor Pump and Engineered Equipment. Jim is a licensed engineer and received his B.S.M.E. from Stevens Institute of Technology and his M.B.A from the University of Southern California.


Doug Kriebel, P.E.

After almost 20 years as sales engineer and regional manager with one of the world's largest pump manufacturers, Doug started Kriebel Engineered Equipment, Inc., in 1989.  Now, after 40 years of industrial equipment sales in the Greater Delaware Valley, Doug combines his experience in large projects and pump instruction to assist engineers at consulting firms, chemical and pharmaceutical corporate headquarters and refineries. Doug has a B.S.Ch.E. degree from Michigan Tech, is a licensed engineer, a member of AIChE and the 2011 Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year.

Charlie Hunter

Charlie’s first meaningful job was with A-C Supply Co. from 1963 through 1981. A-C Supply specialized in power transmission, material handling, motors, pumps and air compressors.  Charlie was a founding member of Anchor Sales Associates in 1981. He served as President, Board Chairman, and most rewardingly as Sales Manager. Our first major lines were Peerless Pump.

 As Anchor has expanded over the last seven years, Charlie has served as one of our specialists in pumps and VFDs providing training and sales support as well as handling key accounts. Charlie has a total of over fifty years of industrial sales service in the Delaware Valley.

Ralph Messersmith

Ralph was born and raised in NJ and still here.  He Graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in engineering. Immediately after graduating Ralph went to work for Ingersoll Rand. He took time out for active duty, 2nd Lt. Army Engineers and ended up at Ft. Dix building rifle ranges.


 When returning to the civilian work force he went to work for Layne & Bowler NYC in sales for 6 years.  His career path then took him to Pumping Equipment Co. (PECo) NJ as VP and eventually President and owner.  With the merger with Anchor Sales Ralph covers North/Central New Jersey & NYC Territory Key Accounts and Manager.


Lisa Walton, P.E.

Nine years of engineering for a major A/E consulting firm provided Lisa with a strong base in process system design, along with equipment specification and evaluation. Since joining in 1997, her ability to analyze installations has provided an added benefit to our northeastern PA clients. Lisa received her B.S.M.E from Valparaiso University and her M.S.M.E. from Drexel.  She is a licensed engineer, and was honored in 1996 as the Young Engineer of the Year by the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia. She is a member of NSPE, PSPE and serves on the executive board of the Lehigh Valley SWE section.


Frank Srogota

Along with covering Philadelphia and the surrounding counties for all our equipment Frank is our lead Nederman salesman.  His over ten years of sales experience including two working directly for Nederman enable him to analyze, define and solve our clients' dust and fume problems.  Frank has a B.S.B.A from Widener University and spends weekends tinkering with his current classic car and is on the board of the Philadelphia American Welding Society (AWS).


Bob Tallia
Bob Joined Anchor Sales in April of 2011. He provides sales and technical support to Northern New Jersey, the southern counties of New York State as well as the 5 boroughs of New York City. Bob brings a very successful sales history to Anchor mostly in a Chemical Specialty technical sales capacity. Bob’s sales efforts have assisted major manufacturers of paints, coatings, inks adhesives, plastics and personal care in new product formulations and enhancements.

Bob’s educational background was strongly rooted in the Biology and Chemistry fields and he plans to pursue his MBA once he successfully expands and supports sales for Anchor Sales in his territory.

Rob Bubeck

Raised here in the Delaware Valley, Rob came to the team in 1994 fresh out of West Virginia University. Now as the office and inside application engineering manager, Rob offers solutions and answers to customers' needs and coordinates activities between customers and our outside sales force. Rob received a B.S.I.E. from W.V.U. and is putting his Eagle Scout rank back to work as an active leader in his local Boy Scout troop.

Gerry Miller

Gerry joined Anchor Sales in August of 2007. His primary focus is sizing and quoting pumps for customer’s conditions. Gerry has over 40 years of experience in the industrial equipment industry having worked for ProMinent as regional manager and owning his own pump rep firm.

Gerry grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Penn State with a degree in Civil Engineering. In his spare time, Gerry plays golf and spends time with his family and enjoys traveling to Hawaii annually with his wife.

Devin Haviland
Devin joined Anchor Sales in August of 2010. His primary focus is sizing and quoting Variable Frequency Drives as well as customer service for pumps and parts. Devin has years of motor, VFD, alignment and vibration experience having worked for local motor shops in both sales and service.

In addition to going to school for learning computer networking systems in his spare time, Devin repairs computers and spends time with his family.
Marc Matteo

Marc joined the team in 2011 and brings with him knowledge of the sheet metal industry. This gives him an understanding of their projects involving air handling and balancing. This has allowed him to step in and be our main contact for our Nederman source capture equipment designed to protect the industrial worker.

Mark is a local product having graduated from Upper Moreland High School where he was a member of the Varsity Ice Hockey and Varsity Football teams. Afterwards he attended Montgomery Community College and was a Youth Hockey Instructor locally.


Jamie Bubeck
Jamie joined Kriebel Engineered Equipment Ltd in 2002 part time to keep the accounts receivables and payables in order. With the merger of Kriebel Engineered Equipment, Ltd. and Anchor Sales she was put in charge of the billing and collections of both companies. Now a full time member she is responding to our customer inquiries on shipping and accounting information.

Jamie has an Associated Degree in Business, is a Public Notary, and certified in Quickbooks. When she is not busy keeping the company running in the right direction she is taking classes at Albright College to complete her Accounting degree.
